Goldfinger are reported by many as one of the best tasting bananas available. These have a very nice consistency, not too firm and not too soft. They are sweeter than your grocery store banana and also have more of a "fruity" flavor and a pleasant aftertaste. These are not cooking bananas, you eat them when they are ripe and soft (a dessert banana).
We especially like to make banana splits with Goldfinger!
